Phoenix Suns Fall to Timberwolves
Wolves Win Series 2-0
Suns Have No Answer for Timberwolves
After two dominant games at home, the question for the Timberwolves entering Game 3 was whether they could keep up the pace on the road against a desperate Phoenix Suns team. The answer was a resounding yes, as the Timberwolves cruised to a 120-95 victory to take a commanding 2-0 lead in the series.
The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns, who had 29 points and 13 rebounds. D'Angelo Russell added 22 points and 7 assists, while Anthony Edwards chipped in with 20 points. The Suns were led by Devin Booker, who had 21 points.
The Timberwolves shot 50.6% from the field, while the Suns shot just 37.8%. The Timberwolves also outrebounded the Suns 50-35.
The Suns now face an uphill battle to come back in the series. They will need to win the next two games at home before heading back to Minnesota for Game 5.
