WASHINGTON (July 3, 2021) - Tyson Foods Inc. is recalling approximately 8.95 million pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken products due to a potential contamination with Listeria, according to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The recall affects various types of chicken products, including frozen pizzas, sandwiches, wraps, and salads, which have been distributed nationwide. The USDA advises consumers to check their freezers for the affected products and return them to the store of purchase for a full refund.

Several major supermarkets and coffee shops have already removed the affected products from their shelves. The USDA urges consumers to avoid consuming any products included in the recall and to contact their healthcare provider immediately if they experience any symptoms of Listeria infection.
