Barcelona Secure Six-Year Deal with Dani Olmo

FC Barcelona has reportedly reached an agreement with RB Leipzig forward Dani Olmo for a six-year contract, according to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano. The deal, which is still subject to a medical, would see Olmo join the Catalan giants this summer.

Barcelona has reportedly submitted an improved offer to RB Leipzig in their pursuit of Olmo. The initial offer was reportedly in the region of €60 million, but the new bid is believed to be closer to €80 million. RB Leipzig is said to be holding out for €100 million for the Spanish winger.

Olmo, who came through the Barcelona youth system, has been a key player for RB Leipzig since joining the club in 2020. He has scored 22 goals and provided 15 assists in 88 appearances for the German club.

The addition of Olmo would be a significant boost to Barcelona's squad, as he is a versatile player who can play on either wing or as a central striker. He would also provide much-needed depth to the Barcelona attack, which has struggled for goals this season.

Barcelona is also reportedly interested in Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams and RB Leipzig center-back Josko Gvardiol. However, any move for these players could depend on the outcome of the Olmo deal.
